OxySure® Model 615 produces 100% medically pure oxygen (USP) for use in any medical emergency, prior to the first responders arriving on scene. OxySure™ Model 615 has been approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for over-the-counter sale, without the need for a prescription. The OxySure® Model 615 is easy to use. In just 3 very simple, easy steps, anyone can administer medical oxygen in an emergency without the need for regulators, tanks, or special training required. See Instructional Video. Model 615 is a lightweight durable, device and generates a minimum of 6 liters per minute (LPM) of oxygen for a minimum duration of 15 minutes. The total oxygen produced exceeds 90+ liters. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions section for more information. How does the OxySure® Model 615 work? The system uses OxySure's groundbreaking "oxygen from powder" technology, developed through many years of research and dozens of worldwide patents. We use two safe, inert powders that combine when you twist the knob, instantly producing medically pure (USP) oxygen. The OxySure® Model 615 system consists of an outer housing that is reusable and a disposable cartridge that can be easily replaced. The system and powders are completely environmentally friendly and the cartridge can be safely disposed of in regular household trash after use. The Model 615 system comes ready to be placed in service, and includes a high concentration, partial rebreathing oxygen mask, which is rated for 6 to 15 LPM. The mask comes installed in our custom plastic tray that allows it to be stored neatly under the green cover so that it can be quickly accessed in the event of an emergency. The mask tray has a proprietary attachment that allows for a quick connection and guaranteed seal when attached to the system. See Instructional Video The mask comes standard with safety tubing that is 7' long and kink resistant. Soft, clear anatomical form provides comfort for even hard-to-fit faces. Adjustable elastic band fits comfortably to hold mask snugly in place. Since the powders are inert, there is no storage of oxygen (therefore no compressed gas in your home!). The oxygen is produced on demand. Activation is a simple twist of a knob, and the system eliminates all of the dangers and problems inherent with traditional compressed sources of oxygen. Once the cartridge expires and the patient requires additional oxygen, a new cartridge is simply inserted into the device and the process repeated. This means that oxygen availability is limited only the number of cartridges available. The OxySure® system is the safe, reliable solution for individuals to store, carry and administer a source of on-demand, medically pure (USP) oxygen. Now, for the first time in history, there is a solution that bridges "the gap" between the time an emergency occurs and the time the first responders get on the scene, by having a safe source of medical oxygen pre-positioned and immediately accessible.

Pure Oxygen from Powder: OxySure has developed a patented process which generates 100% medically pure oxygen from 2 proprietary powders. The oxygen is created instantly by combining the two powders with an accelerant contained inside a disposable cartridge. The powders are completely inert and are stored separately until the moment of activation. As the user turns the knob, all three cartridge ingredients are mixed together to create medically pure [USP] oxygen. Because no oxygen is stored, as in traditional compressed sources, there are none of the hazards associated with compressed tanks.

Maintenance Free:
Compressed oxygen sources require routine inspections and maintenance to verify the integrity of the regulator, volume of compressed gas present in each unit (they can leak over time), storage conditions of the compressed gas cylinders and expiration date. The Model 615 does not require this type of maintenance and will not ˇ°lose volumeˇ± since it does not store oxygen.

Environmentally Friendly:  The cartridge ingredients are completely environmentally friendly both before and after activation. An expended cartridge can be thrown away with household trash.

The OxySure Model 615 is especially needed in cardiovascular emergencies. Irreparable damage (to for example, brain tissue) starts at approximately the third minute of oxygen deprivation (as a result of the heart stopping). In the US, "the gap" can be anywhere between 6 minutes and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and other factors. Therefore, having your own oxygen source close at hand is critical. Model 615 is needed: (1) By anyone who is at risk of having a heart attack or stroke; and (2) Any place where a heart attack or stroke may occur. Please see our Fequently Asked Questions to find out if you (or a loved one) are at risk of a heart attack or stroke. Model 615 can also be placed right next to an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in public places and in the home. Generally, Model 615 can be pre-positioned for use in any medical emergency, including respiratory emergencies (asthma, allergy, smoke inhalation from a fire, and so forth). Award winning design The OxySure® Model 615 system has an award winning, ergonomically effective and aesthetically pleasing design. It also comes with a carry strap for easy mobility. Product Specifications: Height: 12" (30.5 CM) Width: 10" (25.4 CM) Depth: 6" (15.2 CM) Weight: 11 lbs. Exposure Limits: Between 40°F and 160°F Storage: Between 70°F and 86°F (Room Temperature) Oxygen Volume: 90+ standard liters Shelf Life: 2 Years Colors: Housing body, silver gray. Dust cover, green. Approvals: FDA Clearance for Over-the-Counter Sale (December 2005). According to a USA Today study, the response time in the United States for fire and rescue ranges from 6 to 15 minutes from the time of dispatch. This response time is heavily dependent on traffic conditions, geography and weather. Why does this matter? When vital organs are starved of oxygen during a medical emergency, irreparable tissue damage can occur within 3 minutes. According to the American National Red Cross, “When serious injury or sudden illness occurs, the body does not function properly and can benefit from supplemental or additional oxygen.” Oxygen is regularly administered by first responders to those with cardiac emergencies, low levels of oxygen in the bloodstream, respiratory distress or those suffering from shock or trauma. All first responders follow the “ABCs” of resuscitation - Airway, Breathing, and Circulation to rapidly restore “normal” breathing and circulation to a victim of a medical emergency. Supplemental oxygenation can be critical in determining survival and recovery.

OxySure Bridges The Gap
We all instinctively know to dial 911 in the event of a medical emergency. But what you do in those critical moments until trained medical personnel arrive could have a significant impact on survival and recovery. OxySure bridges the gap between the onset of a medical emergency and the arrival of the first responders. Just like a fire extinguisher, the OxySure Model 615 Emergency Oxygen System can be safely pre-positioned to provide immediate access to oxygen during a medical emergency until the arrival of trained medical personnel. The OxySure Model 615 has been cleared by the FDA for over-thecounter use without a prescription. Pure Oxygen from Powder OxySure has developed a revolutionary technology - one of the most remarkable innovations in emergency oxygen in more than 30 years. Scientifically validated by The University of Texas and the Southwest Research Institute, medically pure oxygen is created instantly by combining two proprietary powders with a catalyst contained inside a disposable cartridge. The powders are completely inert and stored separately until the moment of activation. As the knob is turned, all three cartridge ingredients are mixed together to create medically pure oxygen. A Safer Source Emergency oxygen isn’t available in most places where medical emergencies occur. That’s because oxygen is usually stored in compressed gas cylinders or tanks. These tanks are pressurized to as much as 2,000 psi and present a fire and explosion hazard. Consequently, the risk of storing these tanks have outweighed the benefits of making emergency oxygen available. But because the Model 615 doesn’t store oxygen, the risks associated with emergency oxygen are completely eliminated. Maintenance Free All compressed oxygen sources require scheduled maintenance to verify the integrity of the regulator, and volume of compressed gas present in each cylinder. The Model 615 doesn’t require this type of maintenance; it’s virtually maintenance free.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding use of Oxysure Oxygen
How much oxygen does the system provide? The system will provide a flow rate of 6 liters per minute for at least 15 minutes, for a minimum total of 90 liters of medically pure (USP) oxygen. If additional oxygen is required, the cartridge can be quickly replaced and the process repeated, providing an additional 15 minutes of emergency oxygen. Do I need a prescription for Model 615? No. The Model 615 has FDA clearance for over the counter sale. You can purchase the Model 615 today and have it delivered to your door. Does Model 615 present an explosion hazard? No. One of the key advantages of the proprietary “oxygen from powder” technology is safety. The Model 615 does not present an explosion hazard. How does OxySure compare with a compressed oxygen tank? The Model 615 does not store pressurized oxygen in gas form. Instead, it consists of two inert powders. Only after the knob is turned do the components come together to create oxygen. As a result, there is no storage of oxygen; the oxygen is created on demand. As a result, the Model 615 eliminates the dangers traditionally associated with compressed tanks. Can I dispose of the used cartridge in regular household trash? Yes. The expended cartridge is completely environmentally friendly. How do I replace the cartridge once it has been used? Replacement cartridges are available through OxySure. To replace the cartridge, simply open the outer housing, remove the used cartridge and insert the new cartridge. Closing the lid completes the replacement process. What are some of the locations or places where the Model 615 can be placed into service? OxySure’s Model 615 revolutionizes the accessibility of medical oxygen by making it safe, affordable and easy to use.
